Hi fellow writing and education enthusiasts,

Welcome to my site that nurtures our natural desire to learn, to share our knowledge with other growing beings, and to create and write.

My name is Jody Dontje and I am currently studying a Bachelor of Education. My love of words started when my father used to read to me as a little girl. Those moments, of being close to a loved one as a new world is brought to life with every read aloud word, are purely magical. A couple of years ago, I was in a three person band playing violin and keyboard, and writing songs that we performed in front of hundreds of people. Writing in all forms, whether it be picturebook, poetry, short story, young adult fiction, non-fiction, persuasive article, or music and song lyric, can have a strong power over others. Words can educate, connect emotionally, persuade, inspire, muse, motivate, and even change a human being.

I believe that we are all born with a natural desire to succeed in this forever changing world. As we grow this desire transforms into passions, and these passions are what drive us to succeed. Lets nurture these passions, and let the nature of writing, learning and sharing our knowledge through teaching take over. We are social creatures of the world, so lets grow together and share our passion of writing and education.
